CincItalia’s demonstration stage will feature Italian-themed cooking demonstrations, wine tastings, mixology lessons, art and travel talks. Full schedule will be posted as it becomes available.
Eleanor Lachman from Westside Ballroom will be offering dance lessons for $10 per person before the April 4th meeting at 6:30 pm, no partner is necessary.
Dean Giacometti will be inducted into the Cincinnati
Public School Hall of Fame on Thursday April 20th at Paul Brown Stadium. Dean is being recognized for his many years of service and the impact he made on countless lives while serving as a tennis and football coach at Walnut Hills High School. Our annual UIS Christmas Party will be held on Tuesday, December 6th in lieu of our regular meeting. Cost is free for members and $10 for each guest. Please bring a gift in the range of $15 for the gift exchange. Doors open at 6:30 pm, dinner will be served around 7:45 pm. The Sacred Heart Ravioli Dinner is Sunday, October 9th. Dinners begin at noon and end when the food runs out! The dinner is a major fundraiser for the church which helps make our meeting hall affordable. It’s a good meal and a great time where you are sure to meet many old friends. Fundraiser for Super Luke
As many of you know, member Josie Niemeier’s grandson, Luke Knapke (or Super Luke, as he is known), has been bravely battling is battling neurofibromatosis, a form of pediatric brain cancer.
To help Luke’s family, the Probate Court of Hamilton County is hosting a fundraiser Friday, Sept. 23 from 7 pm – 11 pm at the Green Township Senior Center, 3620 Epley Lane (off Cheviot near the North Bend intersection) in Monfort Heights.
There will be food, soft drinks and beer raffles, split the pot and games of chance. Grand Prize is a 55” Flat Screen TV. Tickets are $20.00 each at the door (Adults only and includes admission and a chance on the TV.) Brad Johansen of WKRC-TV will join us to speak.
